DHX Media is a Canadian media company which has been the co-producer and international distributor of The Jumping Ground and its spin-offs since 2012. It was founded in 2006 following a merger between Decode Entertainment and Halifax Film Company.

Following a string of acquisitions, DHX Media acquired Cookie Jar Entertainment, the then-co-producer and joint international distributor of The Jumping Ground since 2007, for $111 million in October 2012. The acquisition made the company the world's largest independent owner of children's television programming. The firm then bought a 15% stake in the franchise's producer, Jumping Ground Studios in December 2017.

Headquartered in Halifax, DHX Media is one of the world’s largest independent children’s entertainment companies with ownership and licensing rights to some of the most recognizable character brands.
